TYPES OF MEMBERS

The BHT has 3 types of membership: member, titular member, honored member.

MEMBER

  • Every medicine or paramedicine who is interested is the handrehabilitation, with paying their annual membershipsfee

TITULAR MEMBER

  • Only for fysiotherapists or occupational therapists
  • Fits in the profile of a handtherapist
  • at least 3 years of experience in the rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity
  • currently active in the field of hand rehabilitation
  • at least being member for 3 successive years of the BHT, by paying the annual memberships fee
  • Followed at least 5 meetings of the BHT in 3 years.
  • Followed multiple national or international hand meetings (= not BHT meetings)
  • Official demand must contain a short curriculum vitae related to the hand rehabilitation, scans or copies of followed courses, meetings,...
  • Demand must be sent to the actual president of the BHT
  • Demand will be discussed and considered in the board

HONORED MEMBER

  • For every declarant member who is not actually working in the field of hand rehabilitation
  • Official demand must be sent to the actual president of the BHT
